Default Vinson 500 5 speed reliability and performance

Hi guys I am getting back into ATVing after 2 years out, my last quad was a 203 foreman 450ES and a quadracer 250 for 3 years before that. I loved the reliability of the foreman but it was Slowww. I have a strong sport riding style but we are running out of places to ride sport quads in southern NH. I want a sport oriented 4x4 and I am going between a used Prairie 650 or a new Vinson. I am a little worried about the Vinzon reliability please give me your experiences good and bad please.

..My wife had a '03 vinson that we just traded in for a K.Q. It was a 5spd and I just loved it..very fast, quiet and smooth machine..had a nice motorcycle feel.......I drive the 650 Prairie..has ITP rims, holeshot radial tires as stock as possable.. oh and with the performance module..the clutching is a pain in the as*..belt squeal, re-adjust, squeal & readjust..I do have the clutch spring in it also..............I was just notified by suzuki that the king quad has a recall..for the reverse failure problem.....now that sucks..a band-aid fix...I have lost trust in suzuki ...I will be replacing my prairie with something, later and was thinking about another Kindquad..but I dont want the reverse problem to occurr long after the warranty is over..wondering if I will have a major expense for transmission failure..I feel suk let us down, by not fixing the problem the proper way, such as replacing the housing case with a stronger one to handle the power strain..You would like either machine..Ive seen some good deals on ebay for the prairie..new left over vinsons..i've seen at $4999.00

I also had a vinson 500 manual and loved it. the only grip i had was the bars are a little wide for agressive riding, at least for my heitgh. 5'7"
other than that it was very fun and fast.
made a few mods and it really came to life. obstical hops were a snap of the throttle.
had it 2 years with no failures, but i never played in the mud with it. It was strictly a trail machine

You cannot go wrong with the Vinson 5 speed. In fact, I was soo close to getting one about a month ago. I decided to spend a measly $400 more to get the Brute Force 650 instead. By the time you get a locker ($350 + install) and a pipe ($250-$300) you're spending more than you would have for the Brute, which already has a locker and way more power and potential.

Plus the Brute Force 650 has a better clutch and springs than the Prairie 650, as well as the better 700 belt.
