Winch on quadrunner 500 question.....
#2
Well I have a Warn 2000 and it's great. I've never heard anything bad about Warn but I have heard about numerous problems people have had with weak and breaking Superwinchs. If you're talking about the Suzuki factory winch mounting bracket, take it back and get your money back and order a Moose Utilities winch bracket. It fits in behind the front bumper instead of sitting underneath the and forward of the front bumper like the Suzuki mount.

Owning both Warn and Superwinch winches, and having owned several prior, in my own personal experience, I find both are quality products supported by excellent customer service, regardless of what anyone may have "heard."
I've required factory service from both manufacturers; I, too, have "heard" of failures from both brands; mechanical devices, including the Space Shuttle, sometimes fail. However, I've found both Warn and Superwinch products perform as advertised; you can't go wrong with either make, although the models differ in features and capability.
Oh, yes; whatever winch you buy, get a ****** block if you contemplate serious pulling.

Go to www.mooseutilities.com and get the part number you need off the website and find their phone number and call it in. I believe Dennis Kirk sells them too but I believe they're a little higher.
