For now I would have to lean towards the Kawi. The Kings reverse issue is an issue that is not yet going away. It's really to bad, cause the King is a excellent ride, but the reverse fix is not a quick or easy fix!Le't just hope that Suzuki backs up there product and stands behind there name with a quality fix ,not a quick economical band aid that buys them some time, and saves them money while KQ owners suffer for their design flaw!

If u like to ride fast get the king. I'm not sayin that the king has more power or will beat a brute in a drag, but the suspension on the brute doesn't allow you to ride as agressively. I have a friend that has a brute and he can't really keep up w/ me, but when we switch its hard for me 2 keep up w/ him. I let him ride the king and i think he wishes he had waited. U wuold think that the brute would be a lot better in the mud, but i have been able to go thru just as much. But if u do a lot of mud ridin and ur worried bout the reverse issue the maybe u should get the kawasaki. If it breaks it is a problem b/c there is no quick fix, but every machine has problems and the reverse issue can be avoided. Ur just not supposed to hold down the override down for a long time. I would say get the king. Just my .02

If you wanna know anymore,go to highlifter.com.You will be able to read how serious this reverse failure is getting to be.It's got nothing to do with holding the reverse override down for to long. You can hold the reverse override button down on other brands and you won't suffer a reverse failure.Suzuki just thinks they can experiment with a cheesy fix, when it's a design flaw to begin with and needs a serious redesign!

Friend....get the King! Yes, there are issues.....however, they WILL be addressed by the manufacturer. I am getting a KQ inspite of the reverse situation. That doesn't mean that i am turning a blind eye to this. However, i have had several zuki's and am not going to miss getting this one!

Buy the KING! You will not regret it! This reverse problem is is a minor problem and it will be corrected, don't let it scare you off! If you think the Brute Force 750 has no problems go to your dealer and ask the mechanics, or just go to the Kawasaki message board. The Brute Force 650 is a better machine than the 750, if you decide to go with a Brute Force.

Hi everyone.............I have two Zukis right now and I am about to get another one to add to the cluster......and I sure am leaning towards the King. I was a little put off at first when I heard about the reverse issue, but now it looks like all systems are go for the King. I just can't seem to be able to find another quad that excites me like the King does. Also, I rarely do much riding in reverse, and I honestly can't see Suzuki stiffing everyone of their customers. Afterall, they are not a bunch of goofs running the company. They know what goes around comes around, so I think they will do their best at rectifying any problem as soon as possible........it's just good business.

I can only speak to my own experiences I bought the King my brother bought the brute 750 my father in law bought the 04 artic cat 650 v twin and my brother in law bought the p700 and they all wish they would have bought the King now. Reasons: better mileage on fuel, smoother ride, great useable power and torque and more comfortable. I would buy the King again in a heartbeat!!!!!!
