buying a Z400??
A friend of mine is thinkin about gettin g a quad. He has a CR250 but hes sick of denting and bending all his pipes, hes gone through 3 silencers and 2 pipes the past year and hes sick of the problems. I said that if he wants to get he a quad he should get a YFZ or a TRX because i think that'd be the closest he could get to his CR but he said he doesnt really want a quad totally built for racing and that he wants a 400. Well imidiately we thought of the Z400 just because ive read shootouts saying that if the power plant was bored up to a 450 that quad could be unstoppable outa the box so if u dont mine can u tell my he should or shouldnt buy a Z400?

I love my Z. as for the rest the YFZ will do 72 right out of the crate
The Z 62/65 and the 400ex a little slower but its a very reliable quad
all can be modded for speed as you can tell with mine. my buddy has a YFZ
very little mods and he still beats me racing. but for trail riding its a toss up between the Z and the ex
but I would go for the Z . the best thing to do is go sit on one and see how it feels to him and go from there

I love my z400 and your friend will love it to if he got one i have never herd of any complantes about one. I hav ridden the 450r and yfz and yes hey r much faster but the z400 is the best all around quad and if u start modding hte z you cna make it faster then a yfz/450r for cheaper then buying one and puttin and exhuast jetting etc.
