On the main bearing oil seals,shouldnt the two main oil seals be installed to where they are flush with the ouside edge? I thought that was the correct way,but when i tore down this engine,the oil seals were pushed in like 1/2 -3/4 inch,i always thought they were just suposed to be installed where they were flat and flush with the outside. PLease clear this up for me.

 

i just put new ones in mine ,the old and the new ones are just flush with the case..good luck, be sure to change the crank spacer o-ring to..
