Anyone with an 87 zilla knows that only FMF makes a replacement reed cage for it. This is what I have on mine. The cage came with a plastic insert that goes inside front of the cage. It seems to direct the air towards the centre of the reeds but also reduces the surface area by about 40%. Was wondering if I take it out if performance would improve or suffer? Anyone have input on this?
