I have a 2004 suzuki LTZ 400 and was wondering if a 39mm fcr keihin model 016-786 will fit my quad. I know the model 016-855 is for my quad but I have the 016-786 and dont want to tear apart my bike if it wont fit. anyone know?

 

the 016-786 is made for the honda 400ex. it might bolt in there but the throttle cables might be different and not hook up

 

can I get a different throttle cable and make it work? anyone know???

where did you get those plastics at? and how much were they? also how much did you pay for the port and polished head?

 

I have a full LRD exhaust and k nN intake, dyna fs cdi , I was wondering if it would be smart to go with a 39mm or a 41mm carb? what would you go with considering the modifications ive done so far? would the 41mm be to big? Im looking at a keihin 41mm fcr to buy soon, any help would be great .....thanks

 

41 is definatly too big, thats for Bored, ported, oversized valved.. ect. race engines, 39 is fine.

 

I got my plastics here in Phoenix they're maier plastics spent around $350
a 41 mil carb would be to big for what you have. the only reason I have one is because of the motor work done
porting can cost between 150/500 depending on who does it and how well its done. I paid $250 for mine

 

I run the 41mm but im running a very built motor like mucky. I have a 450 kit with alot of head work valves cams porting springs ect. the 39 is the best for your application.
