You should be able to obtain the same gains with either the Powercommander or PC. Both do basically the same thing. The timing module is not out yet.

I may pull out the stock snorkel to see what happens, but I doubt I'll keep it that way. I'm around to much water. If I notice any gains with it removed I'll build my own high flow snorkel for the water I seem to encounter most every time I ride.

I'm picking up a new KQ Friday and was wondering if anyone has tested this.

Can someone post pictures of their snorkel removed? I just want to see what it looks like and was wondering if this is removed will it add more power without the TFI or PO?

I saw the video and im not real impressed..It appeared to me like the TFI guy had to really pull up on the handle bar to lift the front end up on his second try..

I can do that right now with no effort on my KQ and NO TFI.

True, But i am wondering if he is in low or high gear.. I can only wheelie in low gear ,in 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. The front end doesnt come-up like that in high gear. I know he said it was in 4 wheel drive.

I have the PC on mine and it does about the same a as the Dobeck. It won't really make it any easier to wheelie. Stock the KQ doesn't start pulling hard until about 9mph,It's the same way with the PC added. The difference is it pulls alittle harder than stock when it hits 9mph.

Hey I tried taking the snorkel out, I'm not sure if it was the right piece, I got to it from the air filter. it was a piece of ruber. If that was it, I did not find much of a difference. I put it back. I use to be able to pop weelies in low, with my stock tires and no skid plates or bumpers. I think the added weight stop my weelies. I will try the power comander when I get bussier at work and the money starts coming in.

Please let me know if that was the right piece.
