Zilla VS yfz
#2
Me: 04 yfz450 that has lost about 10lbs, sparks pipe, cam mod, ron woods intake tube, no airbox lid, k@n.
Him: 90 lt500r bored .20 over with pro-lite piston, 2 stage reeds in stock cage, no airbox, k@n, fmf (prob no better than stock system)
Both of us had pretty worn out tires so we raced on the pavement. I weigh 195 with full race gear, he said that he weighs 200. I was able to pull a couple lengths on him in the first 200 feet. After that he slowly walked by me and continued to pull. His top speed was def quite a bit higher than mine, but he YFZ doesn't really excell at top speed with the stock gearing.

Unless it's a 'properly' modified LT, the Yammie performs nearly as well.
Stock, or nearly stock LTs are turds... the Yammies respond well to cam mods, alky, nitrous, etc..
An LT with all the design shortfalls that Suzuki refused to fix corrected, and some good port work....it's not even close!
