whats better yfz450 or raptor
my freind nate has a ds 650 and has raced raptors yfzs predators just about evrything the only thing that beat him was a banshee and the banshee has about $2000 into it and it couldnt beat the ds until he changed the sprockets and the ds was stock

Funny, at the races I'm always able to pull holeshots on the couple DS 650's that show up and TRY to race.

ive beaten a ds650 too.. it was actually piped. dont know what pipe though. and no it is not 90% rider when it comes to drag racing. mx and xc sure but drag racing lol? no its mostly the bike. as long as you have power, be able to rev it really high, drop the clutch and pin it your good to go.

i cant tell you which one is better then the other, but i can tell you the bombardier ds 650 baja x is better then both
lol Nahh I would take a yfz or a raptor over a ds650 anyday of the week. The DS is a pig. Take a trip down to Dumont, CA. We'll see who's king of comp. there. There will be plenty of yfz's and raptors waiting to leave your sand pig behind.

yea it did win the baja 1000, i have to give it respect for that. The raptor and the DS are pretty much even in a drag, depending how they are geared. The down fall with the DS is the weight. In a sand drag however i've seen DS650s get blown away by yfz's.

yaya the bomb does weigh alot...its a big mans quad......yfz 450 has great handling and great for short tracks...its light and nibble...pretty good motor yamaha dont make crap.....but id say i have beaten tfz 450s too so its just a never ending battle..but i like to end on a good note...just dream if the ds 650 baja x weighed in at 300-350 maybe even 400...i bet there wouldent be a quad on the market that can keep up (stock) vs (stock).also there will never be a ending despute between bomb and raptor....both great quads....sometimes bomb gets it and sometimes raptor gets it......but its just not the bike its alos the rider and his experiance too....i mean sure if u get a 11 yr old kid that knows how to shift and drag a raptor on a bomb of course he win vsia versa...but over all bomb and raptor and yfz very well built bikes...and this is what keeps the atv community going [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
