Back to the regular post... You could consider a Predator they weigh a little bit but they have reverse they stay right with a raptor and there comfortable good shocks virtually no body roll ... a very good trail bike... i noticed u said u rode woods and feild riding

 

Personally I think the z400 is one of the best woods or trail riding quads out there, but if you were picking between them two I would have to say the raptor.

 

On the market today, no. But the Quadzilla would spank it if you include quads built in the past. 392 lbs, 52 hp STOCK -- DS can kiss that fight goodbye, trust me. The Zilla is also a big man's quad. In fact, it's even wider and longer than the DS. But it's just a heck of a lot lighter plus more HP. Reading your signature, your DS is far from stock. It's too bad you don't live closer to the midwest. I'd be surprised if one of my bone stock zilla's wouldn't give your DS a good run for it's money, if not beat it. The only DS's I've raced, I've killed. Granted, none was moded as much as yours, but one did have a pipe/jetting and was being raced by a guy that only weighed about 170-180 versus me (250 lbs) on my stock zilla and it wasn't even a constest.

Sorry about changing the subject of this thread. I just had to get that out. As far as the original thread, keep the Z. You'll lose money trading it in and neither of the other quads will really be much better for the type of riding you do. The YFZ would be a better racer, but no reverse would be a huge disadvantage in the woods. The Raptor will have a little more grunt, but it also sits a lot higher and doesn't handle quite as well.

 

LoL zilla is a ***** fckin bad machine....lol 2 stroke power light and sleek.....LOL i would not race that.my dads friend had one.he just resently sold it......he had everything for it maxed out best of the best, ported, bored, jetted, piped, big carb, nice long swing arm, striaght dragging paddles, and the roar of a two stroke....lol i was left in the dust i admit, he raced a banshee that probably dropped 15 grand in it... he beat it by 3 lengths 4 times, he would leave you and most likely everyone in this room in the dust..gurentee. but as i was saying ON THE MARKET TODAY raptor pfff nope...closed thing would be the yfz....

decked out LoL, what you think no1 else's quads are decked out?, if you dont have a after market pipe and jetted properly and maybe a new air filter i feel sorry for you [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img].....

 

Even if it is faster (which i highly doubt that boat is fast than a yfz) i would take the yfz anyday
