Well I have a SUzuki 250 and yesterday I purchased one. You wont find any significant increase in top speed. In acceleration you will.

I put one on my King Quad this past spring. The jet kit showed the most improvement in my opinion. The needle that came with it is more tapered than the stock needle, allowing more gas to flow when the throttle is from 1/3 - 2/3 open.

I don't know about top speed, but I do agree re: the acceleration and pulling power.

I also put on a SuperTrapp adjustable IDS2 pipe. I'm running 8 discs based on ecoman's recommendation. They go up to twelve. The more discs, the better the flow and the louder the noise. The pipe required a richer jet setting, but it gave new meaning to 5th gear. BTW, fifth gear is an overdrive gear on the 2000 KQ (mine) and QuadRunner 250 4x4.

One other thing, if it comes with an Outerwear prefilter for the air filter, use it, especially if you ride in dusty conditions.

hope this helps.
Mark
