Default LT250 performance carbs

What is good performance carb to replace the stock 34 Mikuni on an 89 LT250R?
Or, should I just have the stock carb modified to increase performance?

Thanks, E

What did you have to do to the boot to get it to fit on the 38?

Thanks for the info.

not a thing, was a tight fit the first time i put it on and took some strength but after being on there for a while it goes on and off like a glove. if you can't get it on people have suggested putting the boot in boiling water for a minute or so.
