I just went thru my manual too and I am with you MeYHymN as far as the 10 hour issue vs. 100 miles. My little cheap manual says change the oil at 100 mi. and tighten and check some things.

Should I be changing the fluids out? I'm at 54 miles and you got me nervous. Where does a fella get a real manual? I called my dealer about an oil change and they want $50. OUCH..........

 

Well I called up a buddy of mine (so take that as a grain of salt) and he stated that if that's what the manufacturer calls for follow it. He also said that the oil that's in the bike is break-in oil and if you change the fluids early replace it with break-in oil. I'm still not sure, but I'm following the manual until I see something different from the manufacturer.
