I know the new 450 is going to be aweosme. AND I LOVE my Z more then anything. Im on it everyday. And it is just an aweosme quad. But I am famous for wanting somethign better and more powerful. but im not leaving Suzuki. thats my brand that Im sticking with. And this new 450 that is coming out is worring me because I don't want to lose intrest in my Z. Do you Z owners feel the same way?

 

kinda, it will be awsome thats for sure. but i like my z, and the money i would spend buying the 450 i could just use to mod out my z. so i dont think ill buy the z 450. at lest not for a wile[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

They were a year late with the 450 dirt bike, so don't hold your breath???

Anybody know if the Suzuki 450 has the engine oil and transmission oil seperate, like the Honda 450 does???

 

thinking the same thing here... a friend of mine just got his z40 motor back from trinity racing and it made 75hp. thats pretty impresive. so ill just keep what i got and modify.

 

75 hp from a Z??? What the heck did he have done to it? Alba's 470 kit only pulls around 50 hp, and most of the yoshi builds dont push too hard on 60 from what I've been seeing.

Honda still seems to be selling thier 400 EX pretty well despite the release of the 450R. I'm sure the addition of reverse and the new plastic helped quite a bit though too. If the price differential is large enough, suzuki can sustain both models.

 

I'm not worried i am going to do a big bore now in the summer. Not everyone wants the radical 450 race quad thats why people are still buyibg the 400ex. For some the just want a quad to put put around the woods. I personally want the radical race quad. That's why i am saving my pennies and going to do the build.

 

Hye 03HMFz how is your HMF exhaust. I made a topic in the suzuki forum and nobody has replied. I am going to be racing alot this summer and spring so I need a exhaust that is going to give me a good low end and mid rnage pull. And I heard the Yoshi isn't all that incredibl on low end. And I don't need top end. Is you HMF a good accelartion pipe?

 

I have the yoshi 450 and it has alot of low end torque, especially since its a stroker kit.

 

where do you ride around napervville?? i live near there and am looking for new spots to ride.

 

The HMF is great. Wouldn't recomend it if you need a quite pipe. I have also heard that the CT is also very good. According to them full system gives you 7hp bottom and 4 top not sure on those numbers though. I just love the powder coating on it. You can get just about any color.
