Default Kingquad VIN and the reverse issue

So for 06 they wont have the suspension calibrated better or anything? Thats ok, my dad might be getting one this month before all the trails open up.

Ok, stupid question time.

The KQ's with the faulty Reverse parts in them are units with Vin #'s JSAAP41A_52115956 and lower.

I just purchased a new KQ with a Vin # JSAAP41A652106554. Here is the dumb question part. Since my Vin # has 9 numbers (After JSAAP41A) with a 6 where the _ is in the Vin # listed as KQ with numbers lower than this being affected, am I OK or is the 6 meaningless, in which case the remaining 8 numbers makes my KQ one with the faulty parts. I hope what I am asking makes sense?

Am I good to go, or am I screwed?

That 6 is a check digit meaning nothing, yours is lower so you do not have the updated parts in yours, but there is a 5 year warrenty on reverse so don't worry about it to much.

#1 your screwed like the rest of us and #2 ... the ahem.. ......extended warranty is only 42 months...when you add the two is it 48 month warranty.......because your NORMAL lousley 6 mo warranty applies..Welcome to the "Suzuki screwed the consumer again" club....

All '05 King Quads have a 5 year warranty for the reverse issue regardless of if you bought an extended warranty or not. Still doesn't fix the problem though.

H*LL I don't use reverse much anyway. I prefer to go forward. Thanks for the info.
