Default New Eiger Owner, have some ?s

Hi all, I just picked up my new Eigers on Friday night. Bought two new '05 Eiger 4x4 Autos. The dealership I got them from jetted them for our altitude (115) and both of them seem to run good yesterday, except my wife's kept dying when idling after it warmed up and seems to be running rich. I thought maybe the choke was on, but I couldn't remember where the choke lever was on them. When we got back, I found in the manual where the choke lever was but it doesn't indicate which way to push the lever to "engage" it. My quad ran really good, so I looked at the choke position on it and it's set right in the middle?! On my wife's, it's all the pushed all the way down (toward the gas tank). So which way is on or off? I'm hoping next time out if I just set the lever to the same position as mine or up higher, hers will run as good as mine did.

I have an 03' Eiger and the choke is off when in the up position and fully on when down all the way. Don't know if the 05's are the same but I expect they are.

Enjoy your new Eigers!

Hemi......got to tell you a story......Once apon a Time in a small Oregon town there lived a lad that bought a new 03 Eiger.......and he was the happest lad in all the land.
He rode his Eiger here......and he rode it there. He dearly loved his shiny red Eiger.
And only after 400 miles did he get concern about dismal gas mileage and an idle that wouldn't idle did he seek out the town dealer..........and cried his cry and asked for guidance.
The dealer was a right and good dealer........and he took the lad under his wing and away from the gathering crowd and whispered............."try running it without the choke on......dumby"
And so it was.....and the lad learned......on is down and off is away............and lived happily ever after.
