Once you over bore it to much you can get another sleeve right?

Yes. I think .080 over is the most you can go before you need to resleeve. Also, if the main bearings or seals are shot (which tends to happen if the bike sits for a long time) it will burn the tranny oil and appear to be running rich. A bottom end rebuild can be expensive.

no its not me selling an 87 motor on ebay,the 88 motor i bought on ebay was a disaster,top end had heat-seaized,but had come back loose,and the rod bottom end had gone out breaking through the engine case to my tranny
