Default yoshi any good?

I am getting a z400 soon and I was positive i was going to get an hmf pipe and someone told me to get a yoshi. I was like dude those are like $700. And he said not the RS-3. Will anyone tell me if the RS-3 is any good because i haven't heard anything about it but have heard nothing but good about the HMF.

yosh pipes are really good for the Z, I just think they're a little high priced but then again yosh is mostly made for suzuki. IMO
I have the yosh pipe and I love it, some people dont care for them. it all depends on what you like and can afford
not to sure how good HMF is. but you will get lots of opinions on the subject. do a lot of researce before you decide what you want

A friend of a friend has a 04 z400, he tells me that his yoshi pipe, jet kit and filter added 16hp. Is that accurate?

and thats having the 440 kit . but piping and jetting makes a world of difference than stock
