dang it
oh well.
i have a few questions
1 - where do you change the tranny oil? or does it have any?
2 - are the airfilters really that hard to clean?
3 - was $500 a good price? it is in really good shape i would say. no seat tears, plastic is not cracked, tires are approx 50%
4 - doing a little reading on them here in the forums, i didnt realize they use a belt. what is the life of these belts?
5 - how fast should this be? just wondering so i know if one of the pulleys is sticking or has problems. it looks totally stock
thanks

Okay first off I would suggest going to the kids forum for mini questions. your more likely to get more responses.
The trans oil is a pain to fill, it just looks like a small bolt and I don't remeber the exact amount but its only a couple ounces. To fill it I use a small funnel and tape a fuel cap vent tube to get it to fit in the hole.
I dont have a stock air box anymore but they aint quick to do when in stock form.
500 for an lt 80 is a great price.
The belts last a long time but you do need to give some attention to the lubrication of the clutch rollers.
30 to 35 mph and it sounds like you need to check out the front clutch rolllers, if they have flat spots then they will need to replace.
BTW if you only run 4 rollers instead of 6 it will lighten up the clutch and it will have more power for hills and sand.
Where do you ride in wash?

i primarily ride in the sand dunes at moses lake, but im not picky.
i pulled the cover off to look at the belt (one where the pull start would go) belt looks in good shape, so i think i will see how it does, then maybe investigate the roller thing.
oil is a pian to change huh? maybe that is why i havent found anywhere obvious to even drain it out.
thanks for the reply, i think i will post a link to this in the kids area (shows what i know, didnt even realize there was a kids area)
