Default The shifter is loose on my quadzilla....

The shifter seal was leaking so I changed it...
Now, it still leaks... I saw that the shifter shaft was pretty loose and the seal wasnt able to fill the slack so it leaks.
I checked on diagrams and there is no bearing or bushing or anything that could be worn, except THE CASE
what should I do ?
I don't know how much oil it lost... that is a concern... Is there a way to check the oil level on the zilla? (and how much oil is it supposed to have ?)

I know I know, the manual. Its on the way.

On the side with the foot brake, there is a screw behind the water pump. Fill the oil up until it runs out of that hole with the screw removed and the case will be full.

either the case is worn or the shaft is bent. did you look at the shaft to see if it wasn't all groved from the seal. if it was the a new seal wouldn't do anything.

Well, when I don't touch the lever it doesn't leak but when I move the shaft, I can see a gap between the shaft and the seal... and that shaft is kind of loose.

Anyone has an Idea to stop that leak ?? (even if its a temporary solution)

I thought about a kind of washer style copper bushing that I would go between the seal and the case, but there is no empty space for it between the two, the seal would come out.
