Default Will 450r shocks work on a Z (front)

I'm selling my 400ex to get a Z400 to be more competitive in XC. I've done some research and the best thing seems to get 2004, cheaper than 2005 but with the frame upgrades over the 2003. I like the elkas I have on my 400ex but wont have a 1100 to get a set after paying for the Z so I was thinking a set of 450r shocks with the thipple rate spring upgrade from works would be a good upgrade. Any info would be great. Plus anyone looking for a very very fast 400ex it's for sale look at my pics.

yeah they will work .if you can get them cheap i say go for it.but you might as well get some aftermarket shocks like works ,elka's or the best axis shocks.that way they can set it up for you weight.

Yeah I have a set of fully adjustable triple rate piggyback elkas on my 400ex that I have a mortgage on my home for. For the riding I am going to be doing I think thay will be ok I'm going to get the Works triple rate spring upgrade and have the revalved. I can have all that including shocks for 300.00. I just wasn't 100% sure they would fit.
