AMAZING ZILLA ON EBAY
Actually that's a Chinese made Linhai 260cc utility quad. Linhai is now well established in the European market, and has a proper importation and distribution network. This one looks like one of the earlier examples imported by small independant traders who knew little or nothing about the machine and unscrupulously used the Quadzilla name. The seller probably doesn't even know what it really is. The name robbery is doubtless the fault of the importer/dealer and almost certainly not the manufacturer.
A small number of Chinese and Taiwanese Quads are slowly getting a good reputation in Europe, such as the Linhai & Kymco. The Linhai is marketed solely as a utility machine and from what I've heard is well built, reliable and more than capable of holding it's own in the 250-350cc utilty market. Due to the lower incomes in European countries and the higher prices of the machines themselves, consumers are forced to consider alternatives to Japanese and American manufacturers, whose machines typically cost double what you guys are paying. Don't forget that 30 years ago nearly everyone had a Harley and looked down their noses at the cheap imported machines from Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha & Suzuki. Perhaps in another 10 or 15 years a Linhai will be the machine everyone wants?
