LT500R pipe options

Doesn't surprise me with the infamous quality and service provided by Trinity... Sorry to hear that though, because the specs on that pipe are close to what I need.
The LRD doesn't even come close to burning your leg... Hmm, can't believe Trinity couldn't do better... Wait, what am I saying???

Duneaddict,
Haven't you gotten wind of what Dr.Q is up to on the MacDizzy forum?
Dr.Q is going to release some of his go fast goodies for the LT500.
Such as.... 2 types of drag pipes, inframe and regular. Would assume the pipe would be routed to the left side. LT500 trans cut gear sets, and his "Roidzilla" 650 zilla engine package......pics look impressive!
Dr.Q has a 250/500 Hybrid pipe in the works also.
You may be aware of all of this....just passing along some info.

What's up 90ZillaX2. After talking with you a few weeks ago in Bonnots, I had to check out Doc's 650 pics you were telling me about. Wow! I sure wish he was closer to the midwest. I'm not sure I could afford (or handle) the 650, but I'd sure like to build one of his "play" motors for my 87 if I ever get around to it using his normal Rx's.
By the way, you need to update your user name. I'm not sure 90ZillaX2 does you justice anymore.

yagerzzz, I will change my username if I buy another '90 'Zilla LOL! I was seriously thinking about doing the docs RX until he came up with his newest monster. I have a new '87 cyl here for just that project too. The 650 Zilla would fit in around here....since you know what town I live in.... Frankenstein.

Is there much going on at MacDizzy these days??? I refused to pay to be a member there, so I haven't been around since Rick did the fee.
I've built my 500 with the Rx, and it does run much harder than it used to. Currently I'm doing the 650 motor in my 250 chassis as a hybrid with many suspension upgrades...
Should run pretty hard with that kind of power and only around 265#.... Not counting my fatt butt.
Doc really knows his stuff.

Duneaddict,
Glad you knew what the Doc was up to. I figured you knew, you were just keeping "quiet" about it, LOL!
When Rick made MacDizzy a pay site, forum posting went to a standstill.....hardly any posting for weeks on end. That has changed though, posting has been picking up quite a bit lately. Lots of good info on that site.
I'm getting the itch to start a z400/QZ500/650 hybrid of my own. Did some measuring on the quad and the QZ engine, will have to do some custom machining and fabrication plus a custom pipe. Shouldn't be much of a problem.
Sounds like your going to have a potent LT250/QZ500 hybrid too. I have one of those......be careful...LOL!

90 X2, if you build a 500 with the normal Rx's, you'll already have the fastest quad around here. That's what I'd like to do. The 650 would be unbelievable. Not sure the streets of Frankenstein could handle something like that. My problem is I need to find an '87 jug. My '87 zilla didn't have a jug when I bought it, so I bought a 88-90 jug off eBay thinking it would be an improvement with the 7 head bolts and larger ones at that. I knew the intake was quite a bit smaller but at the time, I didn't know I'd be wanting to build something fast enough to actually need the bigger intake. Now, I'd really like to find an '87 and do the fixes to it so I can embarass some of the Drag Banshee's at Oklahoma. (By the way, we're going there at the end of June if you're interested.)
All in good time I guess. I've got about 4 or 5 other projects in line before it so if I get it done in my lifetime, I'll be surprised.
