Duneaddict,

Glad you knew what the Doc was up to. I figured you knew, you were just keeping "quiet" about it, LOL!

When Rick made MacDizzy a pay site, forum posting went to a standstill.....hardly any posting for weeks on end. That has changed though, posting has been picking up quite a bit lately. Lots of good info on that site.

I'm getting the itch to start a z400/QZ500/650 hybrid of my own. Did some measuring on the quad and the QZ engine, will have to do some custom machining and fabrication plus a custom pipe. Shouldn't be much of a problem.

Sounds like your going to have a potent LT250/QZ500 hybrid too. I have one of those......be careful...LOL!

X2
Yep, I took the Oath of secrecy.. Guess I'll have to cough up my $10 for Rick if you say it's worth it. I just hate paying for this type of venue on the net... We all should strive to keep the net free as it was originally intended... the only way we can do this is to not pay, the only way that works it for everyone to stick together (Yeah Right)

Cool! A Z650 would be a great little project... Modern day suspension geometry, and mind bending HP... You'll have to keep me posted on your progress.

I'm getting excited about the hybrid... It should be quite a ride when I'm done.. I've had some wild ideas about suspension upgrades and such... All home-made of course. I cut the rear full floater and subframe out, and started over with a direct link shock and removable aluminum subframe... Looks like I'll have about 12" of suspension travel in the rear, working on my own A-arms too with longer shocks... Not sure If I can get to 12" travel up front, but should be close.
I'm striving for very plush suspension that needs to be very light weight. I think the motor will speak for itself.

Best Regards,

I don't know if macdizzy subscriptions are for 2 years now, but I know that everybody who was a subcriber last year got this year for free.

butters & ZillaPheen,

I probably won't sell my newer style jug until I know for sure I can find an '87 to replace it with. I haven't been looking lately but eventually I'll track one down.

I know... I was being a good little soldier and not leaking any pertinant information... then I found out that Doc was posting pictures, etc.
IT'S DEFINITELY NOT A SECRET ANYMORE... I was hoping to have one season of roosting the heck out of people, and claiming it was a stocker before the news got out. (I'm a big fan of the sleeper effect)
Oh well, I can always plead ignorance right?

Yes, I saw that one pipe on Planet Sand.... VERY BIG!!! I've built some big pipes before, but nothing like that one!!!
Any news on the cylinder guy yet?? I wanna get this thing going so bad I hurt!

I prefer good ol' grunt. Any help?
Try Kenny Roberts, he manufactures works of art...
