The dobeck will give you gains you can feel, you just have to do the air box mod. without doing it...you will only get marginal gains...just like the PC. There is a restrictive snorkle at the front of the air box. When removed the quad sucks more air...add more fuel and you get a bigger gain. You would have to retune the dobeck after removing the air snorkle. I've been told that it does let more water in if you do that mod...so if your in ponds all the time, it might not be worth the gains....

 

i havent removed the snorkel at all, we do run through alot of deep puddles but nothing over the fenders...im going to put a twin air on it. I spoke to derek a little while ago he said the same thing. But also said the airbox is high enough that i shouldnt have problems....

 

Can you put the snorkel back on or do you have to cut something?

 

Did you ever get this whole thing resolved? Did you end up removing the snorkel or what?
