QUADRACER HELP!!!
#12
I would do a compression test and check the plug (color) before I pulled anything apart. Anything over 100psi should be enough to keep the quad running. If you have less than 100, that may be the problem.
If your psi is over 100, I would check the reeds. If the reeds are ok, I would use a little 2-stroke mix and poor it down into the cylinder and try to start it. If you have spark, fuel/air and compression it should at least fire. If not, let us know and we can try other things.
I would also check you crankcase oil and see what color it is. I know when I sunk a few quads, it took several oil changes before the quad would run right.

ok...i pulled the jug today...the reeds are FINE...but...there are sum nice marks on my motor....could this make it stop running like that???? the area of the ring where the bigger mark on the piston was almost looked melted on....it did come off though after some prying....take a look at my profile i just posted pics of the cylinder and piston....also the where the connecting rod attaches to the crank...there is a lot of side to side play....is this normal????...anything you guys can tell me would be greatly appreciated...

those are scoring marks, and i believe it is caused by overheating, mine did the same thing and i could roll start it,but it wouldnt idle or rev out,and it ran like crap. i would say you need a bore/piston definitely

Sounds like you need a top and bottom end rebuild. 210 is the stock main jet, which is definitely too lean if your running an FMF pipe. Side to side play on the connecting rod is how you check to see if you need to rebuild your crank, any at all is too much.
