Default Eiger help needed!!

Okay, i just put my Eiger back together and installed my 135mm Jet. Well, the quad seems alot quicker on the flat and down-hill, but the problem is up-hills. It seems to be very slow and slightly bog down. The stock jet is 122mm. I have the following mods so far: Uni-Air filter; Spiral hole airbox lid mod; removed spark arrestor. Now, the only thing that i can think of is the air filter needs a good recharging, but could this really bog me this bad only on hills?? Any opinions would help alot.

well if the filter is dirty it will bog because it's rich...if it's dirty clean it...you may need to change the clutching...i am not sure

Please for the love of the woods. Put your spark arrestor back in, the stock exhaust may not flow good enough even w/ the arrestor removed. Go buy a high flow exhaust that has a spark arrestor, and that may or may not fix your issue. Yeah, I may sound like some tree huggin wacko, but you don't want to be the recipient of a HUGE fine cause you burnt down a county.

IMO, it sounds as if you've lost the bottom end (torque) from the motor. By doing the air-filter mod/jet kit/uni-filter you've definitely opened up the intake side of it. I'm not sure if your exhaust mod is opened enough. I've never tore into the muffler and looked at the guts of it. Did you just take out the spark arrestor or did you completely gut the pipe? I don't think your pipe is flowing enough. Do a search in the forums here and elsewhere about using tractor mufflers. They can be had for 30 bux or so at many feed stores.
