ya, its easy i did to my quadrunner and i was very pleased with throttle respons and torque boost i got. It also gaVE ME ABOUT a 5mph speed increase aswell. one of the easiest cheapest ways to increase horsepower.
all you need to do is unsrew about 4 bolts holding the airbox below the seat. and remove the clamp on the adapter peice on the carboratour throat "not the clamp on the throat itself but the one that connects the adapter peice to the "tube" that goes into the side of the airbox, and the clamp connecting the "tube" to the airbox. then just clamp on your aftermarket filter to the adapter n ur good. make sure you measure before you order i believe you want a 3in flange but make sure
heres a link where youll find what you need if you want to spend alittle more its worth it to get the top intake filter http://www.autoanything.com/air-filters/65A5524A0A0.aspx
if you dont want to get it online n wait for shipping and all that S@#$ you can get one at advanced auto parts. And if u go riding i the rain make sure you put the sleeve it comes with on the filter
