lt250r quadracer sprocket ratio help
#1
I currently own a 1985 suzuki lt250r quadracer.
I bought it used and since I have had lost of problems with gear/sprocket ratios. I need some urgent help.
*When Im riding offroad the bike responds excelent, but when I need some speed it feels that i would need 6 speed. The bike is 5 speed. It feels that the engine si producing to many rpms and its going to literaly explode or meltdown. Im currently using a 14(front)/42(rear) sprocket ratio. The bike comes stock with 12/42 ratio.
What do you think I need for the "perfect" ratio??
Thanks
Roberto
