Hi i just trader my quadzilla for a much better conditon lt250r i just had a few questions.First im runing 89 grade fuel and some kinda napa auto parts 2 stroke oil but i want to upgrade to 93 grade and a better oil mix cause i keep fouling plugs when i start it but it doesnt happen every time only when it sits for a few days o and im still on the tank of gas he gave me which has 89 grade gas napa whatever oil and 32:1 basicly when you start it it idles and then you give it a little gas to keep from stalling and it revs then bogs and revs a little less then bogs then just dies any sugestion about gas oil mix and how to stop fouling plugs would be appreicited im not racing only trail riding

o and i also just ordered a armadillo skid plate are they any good and i got it without an airbox just a foam filter on the carb so i ordered a k&n universal filter and outerware is that going to be bad on trails

I Use Honda HP2 oil, with 92 octane super unleaded. I have fouled one plug ever, in 2 years on all 3 quads. 2 LT250R's and one Blaster. I just fouled the first one the other day after idling around using my 250 for a utility quad all weekend at a 4X4 event.

Good to see that Kentucky isn't the only state that can't teach grammar. Now, drain that crap gas and run it on something decent to see if it does any better. I use 93 octane and maxima super M at 40:1. I don't foul plugs. Do a compression check, it may need a new top end. Next you'll need to set the jetting for idle, pilot, and needle clip to keep it from loading up too bad while your on the trails. I like to jet by ride and feel followed up with plug chop to make sure it's okay. You'll spend less on buying a few pilot jets than you will on spark plugs and it will be worth the trouble.

as for running with a open filter, stay out of the water, and you should be okay.

I use MC1 at 32:1 with 92 and it runs fine with a BR8ES plug

belray mc1 at 50:1 if you run chainsaw 2 stroke oil it will foul plugs. it needs a higher quality oil. and your carb sounds like its out of sink, but you can't fix that until you get some fresh gas and oil in it.
