hey, i am out on long island, i live about 5 minutes away from where TWA FLIGHT 800 CRASHED!yeah there is really no where to ride out here.

 

the bike looks stock as far a si can tell,its reall clean n everything seems to be where is suppsoed to be minus the headlight n front break set up?i have seen alot of250's on ebay with no front braking system?y is this????

worse case senario if i cant get it running, i will tear down the whole bike n rebuild!

sblt500r----how much would u charge to rebuild my engine?????and is the engine too heavy for ups????

 

what happened to your brakes??

ups can ship them, i've recieved and shipped engines. usually costs about $50 to ship them one way. make sure to pack them good.

sbltr500r- i would probaly want a whole engine rebuild???what ia m getting this far is the tranny screwed up with the whole neutral thing. i am sure it needs a top end too, . i am gonna fool around with it when i get a chamce,when i come back from vacataion.my weekdays r shot to do anything.anyway the motor ant that big n i cant see it being that hard to rebuild.....its the whole tranny thing that scares me,lol i have done top ends before but the tranny i never done..

i mean i paid $500 for the bike,not bad?????its solid, i think of it as fixing up a banshee or honda 250r,lol

 

i paid 500 for one of mine not running. lt250r's are getting rarer than 250r's and banshees are all around, so you'll stand out from the crowd. i'll charge 200 to split the cases and put back together. plus parts and price for having it bored. i can't tell you the amount for parts till its apart and i see the insides. the most i put into my lt250r was around 800 in parts, but thats everything new that would wear.

yeah i bought ahonda big red 200cc trike off ebay fro $405 n the trike was "solid"turned out to be a hunk of crap! i was lucky to break even by parting it out on ebay!

 

yeah you got to watch out for ebay bikes that you can't go and look at before you buy them.

i know a couple of places to ride. your very close to me. Im in Rocky Point, theirs a place behind mc donalds in Rocky point with 2 big sandpits and about 3 miles of trails.

 

hey,what size rear tires is supposed to be on this 250r? what i have is the same tire type as u 86LT250RFATTY,My tire size is 22x 12.50x 9,this doesnt seem right or is it?
