I was wondering if anybody has had anything powder coated the color chrome before or maybe know someone who has? I was thinking about getting my a-arms, tie rods, and hubs done so i wanted to know how it comes out. Does it look like actual chrome?

 

my side casecovers where powder coated what they call chrome and its just looks silver. i dont think they have anything like real chrome. you can see it in my pics. i had my a arms done and swing arm.

 

I always thought that it was mirror polish that was CLEAR powder coated.

the powercoat isnt as bright as true chrome but is cheaper and much stronger.

 

The chrome powdercoating is a silver at best. When its first done it looks ok, But It soon goes to a dull silver And the clear powdercoatings are not as durable for some reason just my two cents..
