IM JUST WONDERING WHAT ATV HAS BETTER HANDELING I OWN A Z400 and it handels AWSOME! but IV also heard that the predator has good handeling, what can N - E TELL ME FROM EXPERIENCE--THANKS

I've ridden both, unfortunatly the ride on the Predator was short, but i do own a Z400 and i can say i perfer the Z400 better...The pred has nicer suspension but I feel more comfortable on the Z400. Just my 2 cents

 

I've not riden either, but both are said to handle well.

 

z/kfx 400 by far... preddy is too heavy and geared to high.

 

what does the gearing have to do with handling??

 

I've got a lot more seat time on my KFX than I do a Predator, but.... They both handle very well.

The z400 feels lighter and it is, but the Predator is stable and handles nice.

THe biggest thing I noticed was the Predator's seat stinks. The air-box is right under the seat where you sit and it makes a lump that can be annoying IMO. Also the Pred is wide and feels a lot bigger than my KFX, but that's not an issue really for most people. The only place I noticed it was in the woods.

I'd say they both handle great, but different.

 

Z by far. the pred is nice but heavier. it can become tiresome in the woods after a long ride compared to the Z. the power is nice on both quads. the Z seems to have a quicker more predictable responce to rider input.

 

the pred is not that freaken heavy, polaris did a good job of spreading the weight throughout the quad, ive ridden a z400 and i didnt see much difference from that and the z250
