I recently measured the belt width with a vernier caliper and came up with 1.377 inches. The Service Manual, Page 10-43, says the standard belt width is 1.440 inches and limit (presume replace) is 1.400 inches. Bought a new belt (Suzuki P/N 27601-31G00) and lo and behold, this new belt has a width of 1.375 inches. Does anyone have any comment on what is going on?
