I just bought a set graydon proline nerf bars for my 1986 LT250R but the piece that goes across the frame hits on my FMF pipe. I was thinking about moving the cross brace back about the 1/2 inch or 1 inch it needs to go back and then making some sort of spacer that will go between the footpeg and the nerf bars rear mounts would this work? What should I do?
