King Quad w/26" Mudlights - Tire Pressure
I am throughly enjoying my new KQ but have a question to other riders, regardless of what you ride. Those of you with 26" Mudlights, what are you running for tire pressue?
My dealer put too much air in mine when I picked it up last week and I did not think to check the pressure before going out for a ride. Made my arms so sore by the end of that first day before I checked out the tire pressure at the end of the day. They had 10lbs in the front and 12lbs in the rear! I let out enough air to match the sticker on the fender which was 5.1 up front and 4.4 in the back. I found the going much easier but the tires still feel too hard. Before my 3rd ride I let them down to 4lbs all the way around and found going even better for my terrain, but I still feel that the tires are still too stiff compared to the 25" ITP 589's I used to have on my Eiger.
So the big question is for those of you who run 26" Mudlights - What kind of terrain do you ride in and what tire pressures do you keep yours at?
Thanks
