I have purchased what I believe to be an 1988 LT80 for my 9 year old son.He loves the thing.My problem is it was running great and one day 2 weeks ago it shut off and would not restart.It has good spark and seems to be getting plenty of mixture but it will not start.I have cleaned up the carb put a new air cleaner on it and new reed valves still it will not start.Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

maybe the spark plug?

 

my boys did the same thing. i checked and cleaned everything and it had great comp. my problem was a broken flywheel key. just a thought.

 

spark plug is new.I will check flywheel key
