Default Fuel filter

I cut in a clear in-line filter in my Eiger and I was wondering if it is supposed to be full, or just have fuel in it? I think the element is full, but the bowl of the filter is not. It seems to run good, but I don't want to find out in the boonies that it's starving for gas.

I guess I have filters in other things, but none of them are clear, so I really don't know. Anyone else have a clear filter and is it full? Thanks

Theres gonna be air pockets in it, because the gas is just gavity fed, theres no fuel pump. It will take quite abit of crud to plug it. If it runs for 5 minutes, with out leaking, its working good. I like the clear ones, because it easy to see if gas is flowing to the float bowl.

I have an 05 Eiger and I installed a clear fuel filter in it as well. It will not be full, at least not that I have seen. It may be while under full throttle, but I am not looking at it then! Don't worry!
