Default works shocks spring adjustment how do i?

I got some triple rates for my quadracer, and i need to tighten the springs down a couple of notches, but i cant figure out how to compress the spring down to adjust it tighter. It doesnt thread down like some shocks, you have to compress the spring and move a "c-clip" down. I thought of using spring compressors for cars but they look way to big, anyone have a good trick to it>?

I use a spring compressor I bought from White Bros. Expensive, but when you need one, you need one!

One thing you can try, is to get some beefy zip ties. Have someone stand on the bumper and compress the springs, then zip tie the spring down. Then you can do your adjustment, but BE REAL CAREFULL though! If anything slips, you will lose a finger tip.
