Default next step, PART 2!!

i have added a couple pictures to my bio page to help clarify what i am explaining. i have an 00 quadmaster. the pictures are of the front differential, where the 2wd/4wd lever attaches, via a cable. it seems to have cracked. now the machine is stuck in 4wd, will not come out. Is the fornt differential filled with fluid? Is it still rideable? I am just wondering if anyone has experienced this and what the next step would be??

something a related to this happened with my friends p650. They have had it in 4-wheel for about a year now, but they usually take the other p650. My best guess is to replace it? I'm pretty sure it will be pricey.

yea, i kinda figured the hefty price tag. i guess the best bet is to get it to the dealership and see what they say. anyone have an idea what this repair may cost? THANKS!!!
