Dad is considering trading in his 300 prarie on an 05 400 Eiger 4x4. Theres a dealer that has a sale right now and are selling them for 4000$. How well are these built and how well do they last, also how is there power? I dont know much about the suzuki's so hopefully you all can point me in the right direction. Thanks guys!

Even at it's regular MSRP, the Eiger is the best 'bang for the buck' quad out there. 4K would be a great price for a new Eiger. It's a very sporty utility with a reliable track record.

Just turned 2100 miles on my 2003 Eiger.......replaced a rear driveline seal.....thats it.
It's been an excellent quad......I carry about 100 lbs of gear.....and it has a winch.
In deep snow, on an uphill trail or road, I use all the power it has......but it always gets there.
I run with 750 Cats and 650 Praires......they're certainly more powerful......but the Eiger tends to make up for these things with better manuverablility.
Good machine.....would buy another.

i honestly don't think it'd be worth the wait...that's a great price and the only thing they'll probley do is change the graphics or somthing like that....but the Eiger is a great bike...it can even stand up to being ridden like a sport quad
