i want to know ways to get more top end power with out sacrificing bottom end power. is that even possible, it seems like everything you do to get top end ends up taking away bottom end. i know you can change gear ratios to get more speed, but how hard is that. do you have to get all knew gears or what.
i have great bottom end power and the gears pull great, but my fifth gear doesnt seem to do much, it just revs out, doesnt even seem to pull.
man i wish i had a 6th gear

fifth pulls its just really short. it feels like i need one more gear, the powers there to make me go i just run outta gears

 

I know what you mean the only thing I can say is just save to upgrade to a Z400 man! Start saving now!!!

 

Ya the Z400 is way more powerful. Also the new Z450 racer is coming in the next few months might wanna check that out.

 

yeah how much do you think the new 450 will cost? and when that comes out i bet the z 400s will cost a lot less than what they do now, so then wiyth the money i save on the 400 i could pay for a bore/pipe/cams/suspension and all that stuff

 

The new Z450 should be around the same price as the yfz maybe a little more.
