Default Boring Out Cylinder

Will I have to bore it everytime I do a top end or can I just hone it a few times after this? So when looking for a .020 or whatever piston for a 68mm or 68.5 or whatever which size would I wan't. I don't know if he said it was at 68 now and he was going to the next size I think he did or that he was going 68mm I don't think this was it. I'm new to all this as I'm sure you guys can tell.
