Unless your raptor 350 is geared down the driver on the ex sucks because when I race them with my warrior I get smoked start to finish. The raptor 350 is a little faster then a warrior but not very much.

 

When i had 13/38 gearing i took it threw 4 gears now with 12/38 and own him threw all till i tap out then he passes but as i said the Z there no chance i have tried and tried all you can do is pray they miss a gear lol

 

yea when i was bone stock..i beat a raptor that had a slip-on pipe and geared down a little..and that was me bone stock..of course he got me on top end..but the Z is a very good accelarating quad. I love mine and the only thing ill trade it for is the new RMZ450..and im still not gonna do it until my Z won't start, then ill trade it..its the best thing ive ever rode.

 

found out my timing chain was stretched a lot..and the vavles were also a little out of wack..that was the ticking..$350 dollers later and she doesn't tick anymore.

 

WHATTTTT ??!! the 400 ex slow out the hole ?? when i was stock i was faster out the hole that banshee , kfx 400 and ds650 but i dont have to say that after the third speed they were catching up fast . And your lil'rappy won't beat a ex in accel never.... I think u dont know nothing about atv . and about the 04 z 400 getting beat by a 2000 400 ex it is not normal youre supposed to beat it by approx. 2½-3 length

OOH MY BAD I didnt realize ur just a kid lol and man get real i know my atv is no 660 or a yfz we both just have trail machines so chill there both great but neither compare to the new breed z kfz much less the 450z or 660z
