Top speed is rated by you gear ratio. You can't ask what the top speed of a motor build is because it can change with whatever sprockets you use...Here...check this out Click here for gearing calculatorYou can make it go 100m.p.h if you want. The question should be how fast will it do a 300 ft drag, or will it kick a Raptors a$$...not "How fast will it go"

As Blackbird said yeah you can do the cams but I would also do what he said and then maybe even a DID cam chain to boot. That is pretty much the setup I am going with

With out a piston change and a bigger cylinder, you will get a noticable top end change, but do the cylinder, rod and balance the crank and you will need wings. That cam is not a power cam it is a top end cam. It will scream on the top end but you will need a new cdi that allows the motor to rev higher. Until you do the piston and rod...this current set-up you want will put excessive wear on your stock rod and piston but until it blows you will go pretty fast.

so Italian Stallion, basicly your telling me if I want my motor to blow up faster, add the web cams and keep the stock rod and piston(thats exactly what i wnat to happen) id rather not. So I need a high-compression piston?, and an aftermarket rod? like what exactly?

This is wifey posting.......IMO I would port/polish head, this needs to be done by a professional & by professional I mean someone reputable and that has a flow bench. I had one guy tell me he "eyeballed it" what is that???? Then put in hot cams, the drz gasket will give you a little more compression.. If you add the springs, you will overspring your motor. That completes your top end work & I was quoted about $1200.00 by a very reputable mechanic.. He then puts my bike a dyno & tunes it as best as possible for the conditions..I will have to buy 3 new jets to dial it in for my conditions... then that completes the top end & you can run for a while like that. Later, you can do the bottom end. Which includes a new cylinder, piston, rod.. There is a coolant sleeve around your stock cylinder & is too thin to bore it out it needs to be replaced so that your motor will not run hot. The price for this will vary alot...The rod is what will cost you big depending on which one you go with...There is a chromoly rod which is strong but heavy..then there is a titanium rod, strong and very light which allows your crank to spin faster....This is bucks!!! When you do top end separately from bottom end, you will pay a little more due to the fact that you are paying for some of the labor twice...
It has been my experience that when you try to do this type of work without the assistance of an experienced mechanic, it ends up costing you more in the long run do to dumb things that you just didn't know...

Suzuki racer also you may want to invest in a sparks pipe....What a difference it made for me. Also when I do the 300 ft drags, I strip my bike down. I take off my nerfs/bumper/skid plate and only run with a half a tank. Every 10 lbs. costs you one horsepower. Changing your sprockets and running taller tires will give you more top end...I blow away cammed honda's all the time while I am running stock. Overheating your motor costs you horsepower also.
