do cdi boxes make that big of a difference? if so which one should i get?

Depends on the model of ATV. For the Kawasaki V-twins they make quite a difference.

Default Dyna cdi??
Not sure how much of a difference it will make on a stock motor. I was told to get one that increases rpm's by 1k when I get my cams for the increased top end.
