Default 12 tooth sprocket available for z400 ?

Z4005br,

According to my math (scary), when you go up 2 inches on the rear tires, and one tooth smaller on the front sprocket you are still about one quarter of a sprocket tooth higher than the stock gearing. Going down to a 12 tooth front then makes you geared about three quarters of a tooth lower than stock (after all changes). This sounds about perfect for having a low enough first gear for technical trails and rocks. The first gear on my Raptor started out so high that these changes still were not low enough for technical trails. I was so impressed with how the Razr tires did in snow that I've already ordered the 22x11x9 (6 ply) Maxxis Razr tires for the rear of the Z.

I may add the Rekluse clutch, partly for fun, and partly because the auto clutch really makes the rock crawling easier, and many beginners can't handle the clutch. A friend of mine has one on his dirt bike, and it's amazing how much easier it makes the technical stuff. A lot of the tests say that you can just leave the ATV in one gear higher than you would normally, and cruise trails with out shifting much at all....

Thanks for your help,
Lorrin
