razcob, I wonder the same thing about why would someone call Brad and pay to have it shipped if you far away from their shop, the savings can't be that much...if any. I'm in St. Louis and I may try to Abernathy's as well when I buy...

redfishdaddy, again NICE pics of the winch project...you are way more handy than I am........but let's see the QUAD!

Abernathy's doesn't carry Suzuki, do they? I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think they do. They don't have them on their website anyway.

Quite a few people have been telling me to checkout the new Bomb 800, especially since I will be waiting until later this year to buy. I broke down last night and me a look at the BRP website. I just dunno... What do you think? Have you considered it?

Thanks for the info guys. Ended getting for for 7400. I could have traveled a 160 miles and got one for 6700 otd, but that dealer was offering 400 less on my trade so I opted to stay local. Got a 4.5 yr no deductible warranty as well for 500. I'm cool with the deal. A green 05. Can't wait to get out in the high desert and do some exploring.

$7400 sounds expensive....I'm glad I live in the midwest!

dshoe, I think you are right about Abernathy's...I just got that idea from an earlier post, including one on page 1 (I think). As far as the Outlander 800 goes I am not considering it. I had a Sea Doo that ran great and at least for the 2 yrs that I owned it I never had a problem but the Outlander is out of my price range. I really like what the KQ has to offer and the fact that I will probably be otd in the 6's. A 700cc engine has all the power I will ever need and with the KQ it has the options I want as well, I can't justify another $1500 or more.....I'm sure it will be a nice quad but I won't even be test riding one because of the price and only because of the price.....that is just me.

Shipping??? I was originally going to travel to Abernathys, but Xtreme was closer. I am wrong, I asked him about the Grizzly, Abernathys doesn't sell Suzuki. I was not only saving money despite the added cost of travel, but I felt like I was rewarding a lower cost dealership. Without the high volume sales, goes the low discount price.
