where are all the people that bought theirs for $6200-6400? I know they are out there because I have read their posts....I don't know if that is more in the midwest or what or if it is just recently with dealers wanting to get rid of the '05's.

ericd5155, I knew there were people that paid under 6500. I went to a dealer today in St. Louis that had 2 '05 KQ's left and the guy really kept pushing me towards his Kaw and Pol lines. I asked him for a price on his last '05 green KQ and he acted like he wasn't going to budge at all. The reason I went to this dealer is because I know I wouldn't be buying mine from them so it would be like practice....
Eric, what was your MO sales tax amount?

In Carroll County it is 6.22% Witch is $398.08. But there is a $25 Charge for the sticker for a 3 year Permit, so it was a little over $400. I bought it at Procycle. I did not negotiate with the dealer. They are a set price. (I’m pretty sure) They have a website and several other locations. The link below will take directly to the website for the King Quad. It is listed for $5799 there is a $400 Dollar charge for delivery, set up and who know what else. for a total of $6400. Worth ever penny so far!

My local Suzuki dealer, a husband and wife team, met the price of the big city dealer, 25 miles away and population 60,000. We talked and he said that he'd do it because I was local. They sell a lot bikes and quads, he races and there's no BS. While I buy a majority of my requirements over the Internet, I'm more comfortable spending my money on significant purchases ($7k plus with bumpers, chain saw carrier and rifle carrier is something that gets my attention) where it circulates through the local economy. If local merchants can meet market prices. I live and pay taxes in a small, mostly rural area. Any taxes local industry produces save my property taxes. I've found most local people will meet market prices.
